Are they automatically doubling the coupons until said date? Or do you have to mention it when you get to the register?
I think they are automatically doubling.
The SF Kmart was out of the Juicy Juice packs, Johnson Buddy Bars, and Trident Gum. I did get some Hormel dinners, Big Juicy Juice, and some clearance Glade candles.
So, question. Do you have to get there first thing in order to get anything? I notice that there are lots of couponers and not enough items to go around sometimes. Is this one of those sales?

Yes, there are A LOT of couponers in our area. It is hard to get all the deals. I probably wouldn't have gone to Kmart if I didn't have a return (Kmart-fall apart) because of the likelihood that things would be gone. I got lucky this time.
After you coupon for awhile you start to not worry so much about missing a deal, another one will come around. This attitude is harder to have when you are just starting out and trying to build your food storage and are excited about the savings.
So, long story short...you are more likely to get the deals if you get there first. Decide how important it is to you and act accordingly. (Also, find out when the store re-stocks).
